The educational demand for police science continues to rise unabated due to a wide range of internal and external factors, which include;

• the planned increase in the number of positions in the police force,
• substantial growth in the recruitment of police officers deemed necessary for the eventual replacement of the auxiliary police which is scheduled to be abolished,
• and in keeping with the expanded requirements for training that will lead to the considerable improvement of the job performance of the police.

In response to these factors and as part of the new curriculum, this department has been newly established to advance the ‘field-oriented smart police’, that will lead the way in the activities of the future police by providing advanced knowledge on police work and practical education with considerable emphasis placed on both the theoretical and practical aspects.
