Div. of Robotics Engineering

Cultivating interdisciplinary robotics professionals who integrate mechanical
engineering, electronics, and software
  • Build a strong foundation in robotics engineering through the convergence of mechanical engineering, electronics, and software
  • Develop industry-ready, field-oriented competencies in robot system design and implementation, with a practical focus on ROS, embedded systems, and control technologies
  • Nurture responsible, creative, and interdisciplinary robotics professionals who can meet the evolving needs of industry and society

Div. of of Robotics Engineering

  • Through project-based, industry-driven education, students focus on hands-on technologies such as ROS, embedded systems, and robot control systems. Capstone design projects and training in robot AI applications further strengthen real-world problem-solving skills and on-site adaptability.

  • A professional networking and career development program connects students with mentors from the robotics and smart factory industries, while promoting industry–academia collaboration seminars and career networking opportunities among current students and alumni. Personalized career roadmaps are provided to support individual career paths.

  • The program offers a cloud-based virtual laboratory and ROS practice environment, including online virtual labs for ROS1 and ROS2, as well as robot simulators such as Gazebo and Webots, enabling remote robot practice without time or location constraints.

  • An integrated, interdisciplinary curriculum brings together core technologies such as AI, IoT, control systems, autonomous driving, and robot vision, strengthening convergence competencies essential for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

  • Through a one-on-one faculty–student mentoring system, students undertake robotics startup projects and AI application assignments, while receiving individualized guidance to build a competitive robotics career portfolio.

  • An adaptive curriculum that reflects the latest trends in the robotics industry offers practice-oriented courses such as Fundamentals of Autonomous Mobile Robots, AI Applications in Robotics, and Advanced ROS2 Applications, preparing students to respond effectively to rapidly evolving industry demands.
