Graduation Information

Cyber University Minimum Graduation Credits and Early Graduation

Graduation requires a minimum of 132 credits, the lowest credit requirement among national cyber universities.
New students can graduate in as few as 3 years, and transfer students can graduate as early as 1.5 years.

Regular Graduation
  • Graduation candidates who fulfill all the graduation requirements for their department are automatically eligible for graduation.
  • If a student wishes to postpone graduation, they must submit a graduation deferral application within the designated period.

Graduation Requirements
  • Semesters: Must complete 8 or more semesters; early graduation requires completion of at least 6 semesters.
  • Credits: Must complete a total of 132 credits.
  • Major and General Education Courses: Must complete the minimum required credits for both categories.
  • Department-Specific Requirements: Must fulfill any additional graduation requirements set by the department.
  • Minor Program Students: Must complete at least the minimum required credits for each minor (21 credits).
  • Dual Major Students: Must complete the minimum required credits for each major (Required: 18 credits, Elective: 21 credits) and meet graduation requirements for each department involved.
Graduation Deferral
  • Eligible Applicants: Students who have fulfilled graduation requirements but wish to defer graduation.
  • Application Period: Applications may be submitted once within the designated period each semester.
  • Important Note: Students applying for graduation deferral must register for the following semester. Failure to register will result in dismissal from the university.
Important Information
  • Students on a leave of absence during their graduation semester cannot apply for graduation or graduate.
  • If graduation is not possible due to insufficient credits or incomplete graduation projects, students must register and enroll for the following semester. Failure to register will result in dismissal.
  • If minor or double major credits are not completed by graduation, students may either cancel the minor/double major and graduate or complete all required credits before graduating.
  • For minors or double majors in newly established departments, graduation is only possible once that department has produced graduates.
  • Students eligible for graduation but who do not wish to graduate must apply for a graduation deferral within the designated application period.
Early Graduation
  • Only students with exceptionally outstanding academic performance may graduate by shortening the standard study period to 6 or 7 semesters.
  • Students planning to graduate early must apply within the designated application period.

Early Graduation Eligibility Requirements
  • Students must have a cumulative GPA of 4.00 or higher (including grades from summer sessions).
  • Students must have completed at least 6 semesters and fulfilled all graduation requirements.
