The Department of Youth Counselling aims to nurture sound character and ego in our youth so that they may serve the community well. To do this, the department offers various educational programs on skills and theory that help cultivate experts in youth studies who will be in charge of nurturing today’s youth. In particular, it helps cultivate youth workers and youth counselors by operating educational courses for the relevant certificates that are acquired upon graduation. In the Department of Youth Counseling, students learn both basic knowledge and theory about the youth and practical experience-oriented applied subjects that incorporate them into reality. Based on multidisciplinary connections such as sociology, psychology, education, social welfare, and counseling, while academically studying the youth, the program also offers subjects for youth specialists such as youth counselors and youth guides.
