Our university is Korea's first cyber university, established in 2001 by the late Dr. Kim Byung-kwan. It carries on the educational philosophy of Inchon Kim Seong-su, the founder of Korea University.

Under the guiding principle of our educational philosophy, "Creativity and Service," we have provided countless students with innovative online learning opportunities over the past 25 years. Driven by an exceptional sense of responsibility, we have contributed significantly to the nation and society through high-quality educational programs.

I have been honored to assume the role of the seventh president of our university, entrusted with leading its next remarkable leap forward.

Along with this privilege, I deeply recognize the immense responsibility it carries. As we step into the era of digital transformation, I am committed to advancing the pioneering spirit of Hwajeong Dr. Kim Byung-kwan and ensuring that our university remains Korea's premier cyber university.

To achieve this, we will focus on broadening the university's scope, deepening academic rigor and enhancing educational quality, and expanding diverse learning opportunities. All these efforts will be guided by our founding spirit of Creativity and Service - creativity that inspires knowledge-driven creation, and service that returns those creations to society.

We will go beyond being merely an online educational institution. We support our students in gaining professional knowledge and practical experience, empowering them to build competitiveness in their chosen fields. Our goal is to nurture them into core professionals who contribute meaningfully to society.
